My stamp ink has dried. How can I re-ink it?

Here are simple guides to re-inking your custom stamps. Note- our inks are formulated to create a lasting and vivid impression, and this can include fabrics and skin if caution is not taken. Rubber gloves, paper towels or tissue may be helpful to prevent stains. If ink does get on your skin rubbing alcohol and a strong industrial hand cleaner are the best tools to remove the stain. Any residue or stain left will fade in a short amount of time.

Pre-Inked

Important: Pre Inked Stamps require special Flash Stamp ink to refill!

The pre-inked stamp ink reservoir is accessed by removing the upper section of the handle. It takes a strong tug to loosen and will make a popping noise once freed. There are two holes to the left and right of the center piece. Refill the reservoir by dropping ink into both of these holes. Allow the ink to settle for a few moments and then replace the top handle. Your stamp is now ready to use.

Self-Inking

Our self inking stamps have locking mechanisms on both sides of the stamp that you can squeeze to hold the stamp in place along it's track. Once the imprint piece is secured you can remove the ink pad by pushing it gently from the other side. Once removed you can re-ink the pad by saturating the surface with stamp ink. It is helpful to allow the pad to sit undisturbed for a moment to allow the ink to thoroughly saturate the material. Replace the pad and gently press the stamp down as if you were making an impression to release the locks. Your stamp is now ready to use.

If on inspecting your ink pad you notice any strange buildup or residue it is possible that you will need to replace the pad. We offer replacement pads on all of our products, and customer service would be glad to assist you in finding the right replacement part.

Can I use a stamp to imprint on plastics or metal?

Marking on plastic, metal or any ultra smooth surface requires the use of special inks and stamps. We do have quick-drying products which allow you to leave impressions on a variety of surfaces. If you are unsure which product is right for your project please consult our customer service department.

Badges and Signage

How do I clean my name badge or signage?

The easiest and safest way to clean your name badge is to wipe it gently with a soft cloth dabbed in rubbing alcohol. If the stain persists a light non-abrasive cleaner may be used. Commercial grade cleaning solvents are not recommended as they can degrade the finish on the badge.

The fastener on the back of my badge is damaged. What can I do?

If your badge has become damaged and you need a replacement piece we are more than happy to mail out a new fastener. Please call our call center and we will help you restore your badge.

Coins and Medallions

How do I clean coins and medallions safely?

Using a jewelry cleaning solution is a safe way to clean your coins and to ensure the least damage to the finish. If you are unable to effectively clean your medallion consult your local jeweler or our customer service for our refinishing options

I found an older coin minted by your company that has seen years of wear and tear. Are you able to refinish older medallions?

We are able to restore medallions to a degree, however in the case of damage to the actual metal we are unable to restore any abrasion that may have occurred. In this case a replacement with a newer product would be necessary. We do offer hard cases for our medallions if you would like to protect your minted memory for future generations.

I think this coin may have been minted by your company. Could you verify this for me?

We can try our best! The best way to send verification materials would be to send a scan or pictures of both sides of the coin via email or U.S. Postal Service. After consulting our records we will contact you to let you know if we are the original manufacturer. Due to the transition of records we may not be able to verify or validate all requests, but we will assist you to the best of our ability.
