Raise Interest with your Fundraiser
Recently, I read an article written for the Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute on memorial statues made of zinc. The statues honor those Firemen who died in the line of duty. They were all erected in the beginning of the 19th century. Like so many of our country’s memorials, some of these are in need of restoration. As you can imagine, restoring memorials is a costly endeavor. As a result of the expense involved many organizations make plans for fundraisers. What can we do to help support historical preservation and restoration? Let’s Talk!
Medallions and key tags have a very successful track record as fund raisers. This isn’t the first time I have been asked about this market and I know it won’t be the last. Medallions really work! Year after year, the use of medallions and key tags has continued to grow. I expect the trend to carry on for the foreseeable and beyond.
Whether you live in Aberdeen, SD or Zurich, MT there is undoubtedly a historical monument in your community that needs support. Your local Park Board is an excellent resource as well as the internet to assist you in finding contact information and numbers. Affordable medallions and key tags provide an outstanding long term fund raising opportunity. As an additional keepsake, organizations can produce a limited number in precious metals for the dedicated volunteers or key financial contributors.
