Our minting staff is a full service team- -we can use existing logo or design artwork for your coin or create a fully unique and original design for your product. Following are the guidelines for submitting existing artwork as well as helpful advice on developing your concept from scratch.
For best results in prepared artwork please submit your artwork in the following formats: .TIF, .EPS, .PDF (vector) or .AI. For orders requiring photographic reference the image may be submitted in .JPG format, preferrably at a higher resolution.
Digital EPS (vector) files produce the best results for logos and symbol based artwork and reduce processing time. For EPS formatted files please be sure to outline all text before submission. TIF (raster) or high resolution JPG files serve as a great base for more sculptural designs, but will require additional processing to create producion ready art.
Camera-Ready artwork may be submitted via postal mail. Please be sure to properly protect your artwork from potential uncontrollable damage from postal machines by "sandwiching" the art between two pieces of sturdy cardstock. Our general policy is to return artwork only upon request so please specify to your sales representative at the time of ordering if you would like your artwork returned.
Vector: Vector art is made up of lines and curves defined by mathematical objects called Vectors. Vector art is resolution independent. Therefore it can be scaled to any size without loss of quality. This format is the preferred format for incoming logo artwork. Text should be converted to outlines, paths or curves. By doing this, the font suitcase and printer fonts do not need to be sent in addition to the art. File extensions: .EPS, .PDF, .AI
Raster: Raster art is created using a program like Adobe Photoshop or scanned art (photographic image). A raster image consists of a grid, or bitmap, of small squares known as pixels. Raster images are resolution dependent (set at a fixed resolution). Files submitted in this format need to be of 300dpi resolution. File extensions: .TIF, .JPG
