One of our office supply partners obtained an account that required a great deal of creativity to maximize convenience, minimize cost and meet customer needs for both the office supply sales associate and his customer’s end-users. The customer needed an E-procurement solution for ordering their custom stamp and internal signage that was easy to navigate, as well as rapid turn-around time and delivery.The office supply sales associate also had a challenge to assign a purchase order to each order that passed from the customer to Wendell’s.

Wendell’s worked closely with the sales associate to develop the web site and ensure that all existing products were matched to avoid any variation in appearance throughout the customer’s many offices. Understanding our partners' purchase order needs, Wendell’s proposed an order notification that was sent to the sales associate by e-mail anytime an order was placed and monthly batch invoicing directly to the sales associate so he could assign a single purchase order number to the batch of invoices.

The end state resulted in a custom program that met the customer’s needs for E-procurement, cost savings in time and products and timely delivery of products. Our office supply sales associate partner was able to satisfy his customer above and beyond their expectations, save himself time and effort with stamp and sign orders and was able to focus on other product lines to sell deeper to his customer knowing that this area of business was in good hands.
